UNHCR | Protect Ukrainian families this winter | Donate now
This month marks four years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Since then, families have suffered missiles and drone strikes, power cuts and water shortages, occupation of towns and cities, and the total disruption of daily life.
Millions of people are living in badly damaged homes and buildings, exposed to rain, snow and the bitter cold. Thousands more are seeking safety in collection centres. of families are living in overcrowded collection centres.
Ukrainian families need our help.
UNHCR has teams on the ground, working to repair and insulate bombed-out buildings so that families can stay in the homes that they love in comfort and dignity.
Donate today, and you could provide a range of support for Ukrainian families who are living through the nightmare of war.

With teams across Ukraine and in neighbouring countries hosting refugees from Ukraine, UNHCR is providing protection and humanitarian assistance, including emergency shelters, repairs for homes damaged by shelling, emergency cash assistance, and protection such as psychological support. Winter relief is also provided for internally displaced people in need as temperatures plummet, such as high thermal blankets.
We have stockpiles of aid inside Ukraine and neighbouring countries. We urgently need cash donations to help fulfill these supplies and to provide cash assistance directly to refugees from Ukraine and those who are displaced within the country so they can purchase the essentials they need. Your gift will make a huge difference in the life of a refugee or an internally displaced person. Our teams are on the ground right now working with forcibly displaced people and providing them with life-saving aid, shelter and protection support. For company donations please write to privatesectorpartnership@unhcr.org
UNHCR is urgently responding across Ukraine and in neighbouring countries to support people forced to flee the current crisis. Urgent needs include shelter, relief items such as blankets, sleeping mats, jerry cans to carry clean water, and protection services especially for those most vulnerable, such as unaccompanied and separated children, women and older people, who are the vast majority of those who have fled their homes.
In the event that our Ukraine emergency response becomes fully funded, your donation will provide life-saving support to people forced to flee in emergencies worldwide.
