Over half of Syrian refugees are children – that’s nearly 1.2 million children desperately in need of your support.

Countless families have been torn apart leaving many children to survive alone, separated from their parents and without care. 15 year old Khaled recalls his frightening experience, "We were suddenly all alone and I found myself responsible for my siblings. If anything happens to them, I could never live with myself."

Children of all ages have suffered severe physical injury and psychological trauma from living in the midst of war. Childhood dreams have been replaced with distressing memories of the horror these children have experienced, such as the abuse and brutal killings of family and friends.

Many children have the crippling burden of working to provide for their families. Children like Mahmoud work to earn $2 a day. At just 15 years old, he’s the breadwinner for his family of ten. With your support, we can help enable him and thousands of Syrian children without an education to return to school.

You can change Mahmoud’s future and help prevent Syrian refugee children becoming a lost generation.
