Innocent Syrian families need your help. Fleeing for their lives, thousands left their homes with nothing but the clothes on their back.

After three years of conflict, the situation in Syria remains dire. Families have been torn apart, communities ruined and schools and hospitals destroyed. The crisis has driven over 2.2 million Syrian refugees into neighboring countries with thousands more pouring across Syrian borders every single day. Around 50 per cent of these refugees are children.

Many Syrian families who fled their homes have found shelter in UNHCR supported camps. Located on the border of Syria and Jordan, Za’atari is the world’s second largest refugee camp and currently accommodates around 120,000 people including six-year-old Zed. He recalls the horrific moment when he was wounded by shrapnel whilst playing in his garden in Syria, "I was happy. Then I felt something very hot. There was a lot of blood. Then I was on the ground crying for my mother." Zed has found refuge in Za’atari where his wounds are now healing.
