Violent clashes in Cameroon have displaced tens of thousands of people. Yet this is not hitting the headlines. 

As people tried to escape the violence, thousands were displaced inside Cameroon. Tens of thousands more fled across the border as refugees into Chad.

Homes burned to the ground—many families have nowhere to return to. Ninety per cent of people who fled are women and children, in desperate need of shelter and protection.

These families urgently need your help. 

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is on the ground, distributing life-saving support, such as blankets and shelter. We are rushing aid to protect and support more people forced to flee – but we can’t do it alone. You can help people forced to flee in one of the most forgotten crises in the world.
