Across Africa, we are witnessing a refugee crisis unlike anything we’ve seen before. Families across Africa – mothers and fathers with children, elderly grandparents, and orphaned youth desperately escape conflict in search of safety.
In Liberia, over 35,000 refugees have sought safety many of whom come from Côte d’Ivoire, fleeing violence and instability. Many of them wish to return home, but funds are needed to provide return support while supporting them with lifesaving medical assistance, shelter, and protection. UNHCR has just mobilised 11% of the funds needed to help everyone.
