As temperatures plummet around the world, families who have been forced to flee struggling to survive in inadequate shelters, such as leaking tents to freezing caves and bombed-out buildings.

Winter is always a challenging time, but this year, thousands of families from Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine are returning to their homelands after being forced to flee, with nothing to protect them from the bitter winter weather.
- $65 can provide a gas cylinder to five families in Afghanistan allowing them to prepare hot meals.
- $140 can provide a family with an emergency shelter kit – containing materials needed to repair damaged roofs and broken windows in Ukraine.
- $240 can provide emergency relief items to a refugee family living in Syria, including blankets, sleeping mats, mattresses, a jerry can, a solar lamp and a kitchen set.
We are on the ground, providing protection to the most vulnerable people, but we need your help to make sure our support arrives in time.
