Civilians should never be a target
Civilians do not choose war. They are simply in their homes when war comes to them, forced to flee, to seek shelter and to grieve.
In Ukraine, over 700 drones were launched at cities a few weeks ago. Even a wharehouse filled with aid supplies for refugees was completely destroyed. More than 20 workers and innocent people lost their life.
In Lebanon, more than 2100 deaths have been reported and over 1 million people had to leave their home.
Also in Sudan, airstrikes are hitting civilian infrastructure every day and human rights violations continue to increase.
This cannot keep happening. Civilians should never be a target.
UNHCR is on the ground, protecting displaced people and providing life-saving aid.
