World Refugee Day 

It is an international day established by the United Nations on June 20th. On this day, we honor the courage of people who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict or persecution.

With a donation, you turn solidarity into action - an action that shows refugees are welcome and that we recognize their courage and want to help.

Every contribution helps provide safety, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

What is UNHCR?

UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) is the United Nations refugee agency.

For 75 years, we have been leading and coordinating relief efforts around the world to protect refugees and find solutions to the refugee situation.

We cannot do this without your help.

  • take action in places where others withdraw
  • provide continuity in emergency aid and protection
  • scale up quickly when an emergency situation occurs
