Escalating violence has forced hundreds of thousands of Afghans from their homes, and more are being forced to flee every day.
People are leaving with nothing in search of safety.
Temperatures across the region are dropping are dropping fast. Many lives are at risk.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, needs your urgent help to provide desperate Afghan families with a winter survival kit containing blankets, sleeping mats, a tarpaulin and an emergency payment for fuel used for heating and cooking.
For many families, a winter survival kit, which you could help provide, is the best defence they will have against the cold. Afghan families urgently need your help.
A donation of € 70 could help provide a winter survival kit to help an Afghan family survive the winter cold.
Never in history have there been so many people that had to flee from war, violence or persecution. More than 82 million men, woman and children are desperately in need of a safer future. They are people just like you and me. UNHCR is helping them, but we cannot do this alone.
In order to continue to provide life-saving aid, we are in urgent need of more financial support. Lack of funding is leading to schools not being built, sick people not receiving the adequate care and food shortages.
