Emergency in the DRC: Help Stop the Ebola Outbreak
Families displaced by violence in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring Uganda are facing a deadly Ebola outbreak.
Many were already struggling after fleeing conflict, leaving their homes behind and arriving with little to nothing. Now, this new crisis is putting even more lives at risk.
To help stop the spread of Ebola, people forced to flee, and the communities hosting them urgently need access to essentials like soap, hand sanitizer, and healthcare.
UNHCR is scaling up prevention efforts and sharing life-saving information, building on its experience responding to previous outbreaks. But more support is urgently needed to reach everyone at risk.
