LEBANON EMERGENCY – PROVIDE URGENT RELIEF
Since September 2023, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has been supporting both Lebanese and refugee families in Lebanon.
Hundreds of thousands of people – Lebanese and Syrians – have crossed the border from Lebanon to Syria to escape the hostilities. The majority of them are children. UNHCR is assisting displaced people across Lebanon and repairing shelters so that displaced families do not have to sleep outdoors, while also providing aid to 42 hospitals across the country.
The funding for the needs in Lebanon and Syria is insufficient. Every day, more displaced populations arrive at the borders—families that need our help to survive, with ongoing urgent needs that must be met immediately.
Support displaced families; they desperately need your help.
