Help south Sudanese refugee children avoid a double catastrophe | UNHCR
Children fleeing South Sudan have been through enough already. Forced to leave everything behind to save their lives, walking for days with no food or water, terrified of attackers.
The conflict in South Sudan has created the largest and fastest growing refugee crisis in Africa. And now heavy rains, flooding and strong winds are about to hit the nearly one million South Sudanese refugees who fled into Uganda. Most are women and children.
Time is running out to provide them with shelter. Please donate today.
UNHCR is the leading agency on the ground providing everything from thousands of emergency shelter kits, solar lamps and sleeping mats to extra assistance for the most vulnerable. And we are working tirelessly to move as many families as we can into mud brick shelters that better withstand the rains.
But we can’t do this alone and we only have 10% of the funding we need.

Your help is urgently needed to ensure that these refugee children have somewhere to live that will withstand the storms.
