Ethiopia Emergency – Give Now

Fearing for their lives and the lives of their families, thousands of children, women and men have been forced to flee – there are 1.7 million people displaced in Tigray, and thousands more in Sudan. Most people travelled with nothing, and many are without adequate shelter. More than 5.5 million people are threatened by hunger. UNHCR is on the ground – and we are needed more than ever.

Our teams are rapidly working to address the critical situation of forcibly displaced families with emergency shelter and core relief items:

HK$1,560　Can provide jerry cans to 30 families to fetch water.

HK$4,048　Can provide core relief items kits to 30 refugees, including blankets, jerry cans, a kitchen set, solar lamps, plastic tarpaulins and soap; ensuring their basic protection.

HK$6,844　Can purchase 4 shelter kits to ensure the physical safety of refugee families and allow them to build their shelter. Each shelter kit includes poles, bamboo sticks, roof beams and other local building materials.
