Food prices are increasing. Droughts are becoming more extreme. And refugees and displaced people are bearing the brunt.

The entire Horn of Africa is experiencing drought—in Somalia alone, 90% of the country is severely affected. Millions of people in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are farmers who depend on their livestock and crops for survival. Without enough water, livestock and crops are dying.

People are being forced to flee their homes in search of water and food. Some, already displaced by conflict in the region are being forced to flee again. 
 

There is something you can do.

UNHCR is immediately delivering life-saving aid including clean water, nutritional support and emergency shelter kits.

Everybody deserves fresh, clean water and a safe shelter. Please donate now to provide water, emergency shelter and other live-saving aid to people forced to flee in the Horn of Africa.
 

HK$21,840 can provide a core relief item kit to 80 families containing a kitchen set, jerry cans, sleeping mat and blanket.
HK$41,870 can provide nutritional support for 488 malnourished children and mothers for 1 year.
HK$80,500 can enable 688 persons of concern to access water at 20 liters per day for a period of 3 months through water trucking.
