Hope Rises Under Warmth

^{Winter is harsh for refugees. Give them the warmth of hope.}

For over 3.3 million refugees in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Afghanistan— this winter is set to be harder than ever, with children and families already suffering through devastating conflict and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For some, this winter marks over decades of displacement and knowing all too well the hardships that follow the first chill in the air.

UNHCR has begun to roll out our winter assistance programme across these regions, providing the needed ones with emergency shelters, blankets, solar panels and cash assistance needed for essential supplies.

Before the worst of the winter weather hits, we need all the help we can get to warm spirit of festive seasons to more displaced people.
