Devastating flooding has once again destroyed more than 10,000 homes across the country, forcing Afghan people to flee.

The death toll from rainstorms and heavy flooding in Afghanistan’s Central and Eastern regions left at least 300 people dead and affected more than 600 families. Roads, bridges, houses, and public buildings have been damaged or destroyed.

After decades of conflict, nine out of ten Afghans live in poverty. Now, flash floods in Afghanistan have left thousands homeless, with many still missing or trapped in their homes. Displaced families lack sturdy shelters to protect them from the elements, as well as basic items such as blankets and cash for essentials, including food and medicine.

Your urgent help is needed. You can provide life-saving support to people displaced inside Afghanistan by donating today.

Give today to protect these families who so desperately need your help.
