Syria Emergency - Donate Now - UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency
After 10 years of crisis, life is harder than ever for displaced Syrians.
COVID-19 is having a disastrous impact on the lives of vulnerable Syrians. Today, more than 70% of all Syrian refugees live in poverty. More and more parents are struggling to feed their families. Less and less children are able to go to school.
There are 6.6 million Syrian refugees in the world. The vast majority live in Syria’s neighbouring countries. Furthermore, some 6.7 million Syrians are still displaced in their own country.
UNHCR teams have been working on the ground to support these families for 10 years, since the start of the crisis.
Thanks to support from our donors, we can:
- Provide safe shelter to families forced to flee
- Distribute core relief items, such as tents, blankets and kitchen sets
- Support the education of Syrian children
- Provide cash assistance to the most vulnerable Syrian refugees
- Help displaced Syrians access health services
But the needs are growing, and Syrians need your help more than ever before. Please don’t look away now.
Help us save lives. Please donate TODAY.
Monthly gifts help us save more families forced to flee. By making a monthly donation to UNHCR, you will provide refugees with ongoing relief and protection and help them regain hope for a better future.
