UNHCR | Afghanistan Emergency

Entire communities lie in ruins. Families have lost everything.

Millions of people in Afghanistan are trapped in poverty and hunger, amid economic collapse and with human rights - particularly for women and girls - under attack. More than 2.4 million Afghans have returned or been forced to return to Afghanistan this year, many with nowhere safe to go.

Now a devastating earthquake has destroyed entire communities. Survivors are sleeping in the open, exposed to the elements. Winter is fast approaching—and without urgent support, lives are at risk.

Help us provide emergency relief and shelter now.

Communities are still reeling with the effects of previous earthquakes and flooding—they urgently need safe shelter, protection and relief.

UNHCR and partners are on the ground, racing to deliver emergency supplies inside Afghanistan like tents for families.

Your support is critical. Every donation helps us reach more families with the aid they need to survive. Please give today and help protect lives before it’s too late.
