UNHCR | Chad-Cameroon Emergency | Support Refugees

Violent clashes in Cameroon have displaced tens of thousands of people in a matter of days. Yet this is not hitting the headlines.

Dozens of people have been killed and injured. Children have been separated from their families. Whole villages have been burnt to the ground.

As people tried to escape the violence, thousands have been displaced inside Cameroon. Tens of thousands more have fled across the border as refugees into Chad.

Ninety-eight per cent of people fleeing are women – including many who are pregnant – and children.

These families urgently need your help.

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is on the ground, distributing life-saving support, such as blankets and shelter. We are rushing aid to protect and support more people forced to flee – but we can’t do it alone. You can help people forced to flee in one of the most forgotten crises in the world.

Please give what you can.

Your support can help save lives.
