UNHCR | Help refugees and families affected by the war in Ukraine

It’s been more than a year since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, and a third of the country’s population has been forced to flee home.

Families forced to flee still need your support.

UNHCR has been on the ground since the beginning, providing emergency shelter, relief items, and legal and psychological support to people affected by the conflict. Continued attacks in the country mean that people are losing their homes and even their loved ones every day. To help those in need, we will stay and continue working in Ukraine and countries hosting refugees from Ukraine for as long as necessary.

But we cannot do it without you.

With no end to the war in sight, we rely on your generosity to continue providing essential, life-saving relief to people who have lost everything.

Please donate now.

Summary of donation information

Monthly donation: Consider making a monthly donation. Monthly donations help assist more families forced to flee. By making a regular gift to UNHCR, you can provide refugees and displaced people worldwide with ongoing relief, protection, and hope for a better future.
What Do Refugees from Ukraine Need?

UNHCR is urgently upscaling emergency operations across Ukraine and in neighbouring countries to support people forced to flee the current crisis. Urgent needs include shelter, relief items such as blankets, sleeping mats, jerry cans to carry clean water, and protection services especially for those most vulnerable, such as unaccompanied and separate children, women and older people, who are the vast majority of those fleeing their homes.

In the event that our Ukraine emergency response becomes fully funded, your donation will provide life-saving support to people forced to flee in emergencies worldwide.
