UNHCR | Urgent Help Needed for Refugees in Uganda

Uganda is on the verge of hosting two million refugees as escalating crises in Sudan, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) drive hundreds of people to cross the border daily in search of safety and lifesaving aid.

Local communities who have so little themselves are generously sharing their land, schools, and resources with refugees. But more people fleeing violence are arriving in the country every day, needing aid and shelter.

Please give what you can.

The humanitarian response is facing one of the worst funding crises in decades. Both refugees and local communities in Uganda are struggling more than ever before. As resources are stretched thin, refugees are being forced to make life-altering choices to survive, including dropping out of school.

There is so much to be done to support both refugee and host communities in Uganda.

But we cannot do this without your help.
