UNHCR | Sudanese Refugee Families In Egypt

Since conflict broke out in Sudan last year, 1.2 million people have already fled across the border into Egypt. The majority of people forced to flee are women and children, as well as other vulnerable people, including the elderly and those with disabilities or medical conditions.

UNHCR teams in Egypt are working around the clock to provide protection to the growing number of people arriving in the country, but our operations are desperately underfunded.

Without your support, we face drastic cuts to vital services, including shelter, healthcare, education, protection against exploitation and abuse, and support for unaccompanied children.

We need your donations to help Sudanese families far from home this winter.

Help UNHCR to provide emergency aid and support to people recover from the psychological trauma of war. Your support could provide healthcare, education opportunities or cash grants to pay for essentials like food and rent.

Donate today.
