Stateless people do not have access to the things in life that most of us take for granted. Without a nationality or documentation to prove their identity, most stateless people cannot access healthcare, school and are even unable to find legal work. Some stateless people cannot even get married or obtain a driver’s license.

Millions of people around the world are not citizens of any country. This can be because of discrimination by the State, through gaps in local laws or simply by being born in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We need your help to ensure that everyone is able to get nationality. We want to end statelessness around the world.

With your donation, we can help provide stateless people with legal assistance in their country, work to ensure that children at risk of being stateless are given birth certificates and provide some of the neediest stateless people with social and medical services. We are also advocating with governments all over the world to reform their laws so as to prevent statelessness and allow stateless people to be given a nationality, ending statelessness today, and for generations to come.
