When refugees flee their homes, they often carry nothing but their memories, hopes, and skills.

Their skills are their lifeline. By practicing their heritage craft they can contribute to their host communities, preserve their connection to culture, and make a dignified living - supporting their families whilst living in displacement. UNHCR Together As One campaign ensures refugee artisans can earn income through craft, using their skills and heritage.  

Together with Innkuan Project, UNHCR Malaysia supports the refugee communities to be self-reliant.   

We urge you to show your solidarity with those forced to flee by supporting refugee-made crafts. In a world divided by conflict, every bear is made to connect us. Your generous support can help provide refugee artisans with sustainable income, rebuild their livelihoods, and establish independence.
