For refugee families in Malaysia, away from their homes and communities, faced with poverty and hardship, their future is filled with uncertainty. Every year is incredibly tough but your generosity can change refugee lives.
With a minimum donation to UNHCR, you can redeem a gift from the GIFT WITH IMPACT COLLECTION, a collaboration between UNHCR and refugee artisans.
This collection supports refugees' self-reliance and empowerment, but it also creates a unique opportunity for refugees to connect personally with donors like you through these beautifully handcrafted gifts.
In 3 simply steps:
1. Browse our GIFT WITH IMPACT COLLECTION, crafted by refugee artisans in Malaysia.
2. Make the minimum donation and you will receive a donation confirmation email with a Google Form link to select your desired gift colour. Each item is unique, and there are limited numbers of each available colour, so choices are based on a first come, first served basis.
3. Submit the Google Form provided within 24 hours to redeem your gift item and it will be delivered to you via Pos Laju within 10-14 days. Free shipping within Malaysia is included.

The GIFT WITH IMPACT COLLECTION is a range of products carefully crafted by refugee artisans living in Malaysia. In a country where refugees have no access to legal work, each product in the GIFT WITH IMPACT COLLECTION offers these artisans the opportunity to learn new skills, earn an income, and strengthen their self-reliance.

All donations to UNHCR supports the Agency’s work in Malaysia to provide life-saving support for refugees, such as ensuring refugees have access to healthcare services and financial assistance for those most vulnerable; safeguarding fundamental human rights, such as ensuring refugee families are able to live with safety and dignity; and building better futures for refugees such as ensuring children receive basic education and youths have the skills they need to thrive.

After completing the donation, you may select your preferred colour through the Google Form link which is provided in the donation confirmation email. Due to limited stock availability, we will contact you to choose a different option if the colour you prefer is out of stock.
If the gift you’ve selected is out of stock, we will contact you to choose a different option. The donation you’ve made to support UNHCR’s global protection works for people forced to flee is however not refundable.
Yes you can choose to make a donation directly to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. You will receive a donation confirmation and thank you email.
We ship weekly every Monday, and delivery time is dependent on Pos Laju. Please expect 7-14 days to process and ship your gift.
Your money helps UNHCR provide protection and other forms of assistance, and advocacy on behalf of refugees every year. We ensure that as many funds as possible are redirected to refugees forced to flee their homes. 85 per cent of all funds raised go directly to field operations. 7 per cent is allocated for global programmes, helping refugees under the UNHCR mandate around the world, and 8 per cent is for headquarters administration.
