Syrians are facing a stark choice this winter: returning to a homeland riddled with destruction, or remaining refugees in countries like Jordan. Together, this winter we can help families face it with strength, safety, and dignity.

In Syria, families are returning to a country devastated by years of war, while in countries like Jordan, Syrian refugees are struggling to survive in temporary shelter that were never meant to withstand over a decade of displacement

In Jordan, families are living in old, flimsy and damaged shelters, struggling to keep out the rain and the snow, while families returning home to Syria are being greeted by mass destruction. Many of these families face the winter without heating, insulation, and enough support to keep warm.

The quick decline in aid this year means that we are running out of time. Can you help us act quickly?

With your support, we can help to repair shelters in Jordan and provide emergency assistance to people returning to Syria, such as blankets, mattresses, cooking utensils and jerry cans to collect water. We can also provide shelter and help repair bombed-out buildings to make them habitable again. In addition, we can provide cash grants so that families can buy items to help them through the winter months, from warm clothes to fuel for heating.
